My Story

Maaki, though the brother of Wakin and Anpawi, did not spend his early cubhood with us.  He was at another facility down south that apparently did not emphasize “tiger manners”.  When he came back to Wakin and Anpawi almost a year later, his very different dynamic brought friction to the group.  Maaki is still trying to figure out this whole ‘manners’ process, much to the chagrin of both Wakin and Anpawi, but he is still a very loving cat–one of the first to greet you when you visit his enclosure, and always ready with a kiss if you ask nicely (and a nip if you don’t!)
